About the Author
Steve Stephens is the owner and founder of HydroTech Pressure Cleaning Technologies, Inc., the HydroTech Training Facility for pressure cleaning contractors, and Steve Stephens Consulting. Through his school, his consulting services, and his publications, Steve has assisted hundreds of businesses get a jumpstart on success. He has also had the privilege of contributing to the success of HydroTech certified companies throughout North America. Steve is nationally recognized as one of the top experts in the industry and has countless published works to his credit. He is also a contributing writer and consultant for Cleaner Times Magazine, and contributing author to the Power Washer’s Guidebook, The Power Washer’s Marketing Book and other industry publications. His company, HydroTech, Inc., was featured on the cover of Pressure Concepts Magazine as a model of integrity, character and image. Steve, who has been in the pressure washing industry since 1980, previously served on the Board of Directors for PWNA and as Chairman of the Technical Support Network. He also served as a featured speaker at several PWNA meetings, and as PWNA keynote speaker in 2001 and 2010. Steve contributes his success to an ongoing commitment to excellence, research and development, and the desire to help others succeed. Not what I was expecting

This is a good book but not what I was expecting. This is for an established company wanting to work on their image etc.
Not so much for a very young start up with little or no advertising budget. Maybe I'll read it again in a year or two and it will be of more benefit then. Cheers

Wow, if I could give this 10 stars I would, really. This book REALLY REALLY REALLY inspired me. I'm so glad that Steve and Allison took the time to write this. Me and my wife are currently working on launching our very own pressure cleaning business. This book confirmed so much to me, spoke VOLUMES to me, encouraged me, etc. I like the way that Steve calls people in this business up to a new level of integrity and service and it inspired me that I don't just have to have a little side business with this, I can actually build a successful company through pressure washing. I read a few other e-books, but none as thorough and inspiring as this one. They've obviously done their research and are giving a veteran's perspective on this business. I'm not able to implement everything here at this point in my business, BUT I now have a bigger vision, clearer goals to shoot for, and a ton of inspiration and motivation to keep moving forward and go as big as I'd like with my business. Thanks Steve! Thanks Allison! For setting the bar higher! Now when's part II coming out!?

Kindergarten-Grade 2-Poor Pip Squeak, a long-nosed, beady-eyed mouse, can't sleep because his roof is leaking. As he lies in bed, first a drip hits him on his head, then his foot, and then his chin until his bed is covered with pots and pans. As the leaks multiply, the water fills all of his containers from tub to shoe, from hat to glass, until finally the weary rodent's home is nearly submerged. Just as he hangs his head in defeat, the sun comes out and the drips stop as suddenly as they started. While his friends now want to jump in puddles, Pip just wants to jump back in bed. Rhyming text and the repetition of a couple of key phrases ("Drip! Drop!/Plip! Plop!") make this title effective as a beginning reader. Short, simple sentences keep the action moving along while a single problem focuses readers' attention. The snappy narrative is coupled with expressive, silly illustrations. With a smooth wash of color, these bright and flowing cartoons create a sense of growing disorder. Pip, with his orange-and-yellow striped pajamas, loose sagging bathrobe, and enormous mousy ears, is an endearing character who gamely battles the growing tide with "Cat in the Hat" ingenuity. It is thus surprising that he gives up the fight and even more puzzling that he chooses to jump back in bed (where did all the water go?). Yet, as he contentedly dreams of cheese, readers can't help but smile at his well-earned sleep.

Gr. K^-2. A leaky roof torments a sleepy mouse in this appealing I Can Read Book. Pip Squeak is just nodding off when a drop lands on his head. A well-placed teacup seems to solve the problem until another drop lands on his toes and another on his chin. Soon he is racing back and forth with pots and pans, trying to stem the flood of water that's beginning to swirl around his pajamas. He's ready to give up just as the storm breaks and the leaks stop. His friends stop by ready to splash in puddles, but tired Pip Squeak goes back to bed. In a few words per page, simple rhymes reminiscent of Dr. Seuss tell the funny, calamitous story. The language is appropriate for the youngest readers, while the animated illustrations make the story's action clear and fun to follow, picturing Pip Squeak's helpless war against the drips, before he finally settles to sleep, a dream wedge of cheese above his head. My Grandchildren love it

This is an amusing story written in short, rhythmic, rhyming sentences, which makes for attractive listening for our 3 and 5 year old grandsons and holds their (often fleeting) attention. I bought it for the easy words and repetition to help our 5 year-old grandson as he learns to read, but the illustrations are bold and expressive, enhancing the humor for both of them. This is one of the few they request again and again.

Simple story of the drip drop of rain inside the house and Pip Squeaks attempt to catch the water. Simple story (escheating problem and problem solving) that is understandable for a 3 year old, with a bit of humor. Our grandson likes to read it over and over.

This is a darling book about a mouse whose house keeps getting holes in it and it is raining and he is trying to keep his bed from getting wet by putting items to catch the rain. Very enjoyable and my grandkids 5 & 7 can read it themselves.
