Can be helpful in addition to Wallace

This is a fairly simple Greek grammar. In comparison to Wallace, he briefly describes the function, or case, and then supplements it with many examples. There are a plethora of references cited, so it is probable that one could find a reference to a difficult passage which one struggling with. It is not only beneficial for that but also to reinforce what one is learning in Wallace.

Too many typographical errors

I purchased this book several years ago. The book is well thought out and presents the syntax in an easy to understand way. However, the book was not carefully proofread. There are too many errors in the Greek and English text. Many Greek words are misspelled and some of the illustrative sentences are incomplete. The text suddenly ends when there shoud be more text to complete the translation from the Greek cited. I teach Biblical Greek and would not recommend that my students purchase the book. My edition is 1995.

A Must Have

This is a delightful addition to any Witch's library. I wouldn't be without it or the Old Girls Book of Spells.

In addition to the items Cal lists for the spell kit I added my pendulum, a gold coin, a small candle holder, two cones of frank and myrrh incense with a small clay disk on which to burn them, and upgraded the thread to some light weight cord. Everything fits beautifully. I got so many requests for kits that I purchased some tins the exact same size as the Altoids tin and made several kits and have sold them to very grateful Witches on the go. Everyone in my family carries one.

I actually thought this book would be different. I did read it through but unfortunately became a bit bored.
I had thought the spells would be more something someone could do anyplace, anywhere. But you are told from the start to have a little portable altar (she gives instructions for this) that you keep with you.
A lot of the spells require finding a private place.

In the beginning she does offer a spell requiring only a rubber band so you can 'stretch time' when you're late. This I found helpful.

If you can find this book in the library by all means look through it. But I wouldn't spend the money if I hadn't already.

Lewis Carroll was the pen name of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, an English writer, mathematician, Anglican deacon, and photographer. Best known for his classics Alice s Adventures in Wonderland, Through the Looking Glass, and Jabberwocky, Carroll was also an accomplished inventor who created an early version of what is today known as Scrabble. The publication of Alice s Adventures in Wonderland in 1865 brought Carroll a certain level of fame, although he continued to supplement his income through his work as a mathematics tutor at Christ Church, Oxford College. Carroll s whimsical characters and nonsensical verse resonated with Victorian-era readers, and his books continue to be enjoyed by numerous modern societies dedicated to his promoting his works.
